This website belongs to Dr Shiri Lejay, Consultant Paediatrician, trading as Your Family Paediatrician ("I", "me"). I am the data controller for the personal information collected through this website. You can contact me about anything in this policy at shiri@yourfamilypaediatrician.com.

What I collect

The only personal information this website collects is what you choose to send me through the booking form (or by emailing me directly): your name, email address, phone number (optional), your child's age, the topic you'd like help with, and your message.

Your message may include information about your child's health. Health information is special-category data under UK data protection law — please share only what you feel is needed for me to help; we can discuss the details when I reply.

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking of any kind.

How I use it

I use the information you send solely to respond to your enquiry and to arrange your appointment. The legal bases for this are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and — for any health information you choose to include — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by contacting me.

I never sell or share your information for marketing.

Where it goes and how long it's kept

This website is hosted by Netlify, which processes form submissions on my behalf and may do so on servers outside the UK, subject to the safeguards in its data processing agreement. Form submissions are automatically deleted from Netlify within 7 days; your enquiry is delivered to my practice email inbox, where I keep it only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and meet my professional record-keeping obligations.

If you go on to have a consultation, your clinical records are held by Central Health London under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email shiri@yourfamilypaediatrician.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated date above.
